October 25th for the Storm 2?

September 30th, 2009 5 comments

Dummy units being shipped out on the 25th? What does that mean? Well it means the real device cant be too far behind. Interesting pictures popping up over at BGR & Crackberry showing a snap of the Best Buy product inventory. Still doesn’t give us a precise release date but rumor has it that the device will be retailing at $599….Interesting…

BlackBerry Storm 2 Release date.

September 18th, 2009 4 comments

We have all herd the rumors about the potential release dates of both the storm 2 and bold 2 but wouldnt it be great if we got something more official?

Well according to an unnamed official source,

Storm 2: Mid October, but don’t be fooled, Verizon won’t be the first one releasing this berry, Vodafone will. Although Verizon is working really hard in order to get almost the same release as Vodafone my guess would be a week apart from each other, and then Canada will see the release soon after Verizon, if not at the same time.

Bold 2: Since RIM decided to push the Storm 2 first, they want to give the second generation Storm a little air in order for it to sell as much as possible. This leads the Bold 2 – 9700 to release Mid November to almost the first days of December. Although, lucky people from the UK, here is some good news for you: T-Mobile UK is planning on releasing on October too.

Not that conclusive but its something. what do you guys think?

Calm before the storm….2?

Well a whole week has almost gone by and no new developments have been leaked. Is this just the calm before the storm? There was so much activity before this dry spell and that surley means something big is coming sometime time in the future. For sanitys sake lets hope thats sooner rather then later!

What usually happens when companies drop the price of their latest product?
Thats right, a brand new product is being lined up! With the price of the storm 1 being reduced by verizon (and it is also being available for free on a £30p/month contract with vodafone now) all signs point to the imminent release of the storm 2. Not to long now folks!
