So much storm 2 goodness! More and more videos are beginning to appear and this one is pretty sweet. It shows you once again that the new blackberry will have wifi aaaand it also shows flick scrolling! Two things that everyone wants! We also get a quick peak at the BB browser, doesn’t look like anything special but im sure they will have that fixed come release date. Another cracking video that probably wont be around for long so check it out!
RIM have done it again, another ‘leak’ and a rather interesting one at that. A user guide for the storm 2! There isn’t really anything that special in it other then the inclusion of wifi and OS 5. None the less it is an interesting read and a great way to waste a few hours at work. Enjoy.
Endgadet mobile just manged to get their hands on a host of new pictures showing the piezeo technology behind the new storm. Pictures tell a thousand words and you can see that there is a vast difference behind the screens of both devices. Where as the storm 1 had that single button it is believed that for the storm 2..
those four “buttons” which are pictured are more like sensors than buttons. When the device is on, they communicate with the screen and presses on the screen can simulate that familiar “click” that Storm users know all too well. However, when the device is powered off, the screen stays put, as there isn’t an actual mechanism to move the screen like there was in the original Storm.
That still doesn’t really explain the “sponge” technology that was mention in a previous video but its something for us to gossip about. No one really knows how this thing is going to work, we will just have to wait for RIM to crack and tell the whole world about their glorious new BlackBerry. It looked like the initial rumours surround the release date of the storm may well be true. BGR recetnly posted this picture which shows a possible october role out( actualy one month eartly then the americans were sceduled to get them). Sound like progress is being made but I would hold some slight reervations as RIM could easily delay the relase. Saying that I would rather they did and made sure the device was perfect. We shall have to wait and see!
Another video from the famous Salomondrin. This is all about the hardware(and yes wifi will definitely be included). In this video salmondrin explains the core differences between the storm 1 and storm 2. Wifi. One of the most talked about features (or lack of should I say) in the Storms short life. Why didn’t it have it?! said people form the four corners of the earth. Well they simply wanted us to drool at exactly 5 minutes into the video below! Is it official? Well you cant say for sure really, but from the video we sure well hope so. This is not the best video in terms of quality and the background music..Well that could go either way so I’ll let you decided on that one. However, it more then makes up for it my giving you a glimpse of that magical wifi. Enjoy!
